Lil' Amigo Chihuahuas is a family owned breeder of show quality Chihuahuas. We are members in good standing with the Canadian Kennel Club and we strive to abide by its Code of Ethics. Our lovely Chihuahuas are bred and whelped in our home, not in a kennel or back yard. Our pups are fully socialized, but not before their time. Why do we Breed and Show Chihuahuas? The Chihuahua is a fascinating creature -- all dog; low maintenance -- and oh so smart!

As responsible breeders of this amazing Toy Breed, we:

1.    Welcome you to our home see all our dogs and to see were they are kept.  We will not breed any of our females until they are at least one year old, in good health with no genetic defects.

2.  We will have you sign a spay/neuter contract with us and with the Canadian Kennel Club.  All our dogs are registered with the CKC or the AKC.

3.  We have our dogs best interest in mind at all times. We will give you a written Health Guarantee for the pup/dog you are buying from us.

4.  We will not sell you a pup before it is 12 weeks old, has seen a Veterinarian and has 2 sets of vaccinations. We give you a record of vaccinations and medical history with the registration papers. The registration papers belong to the pup/dog.

5.  We are in no rush to sell our dogs. We will want to get to know you for a week or two or more. You cannot just drop in and buy a pup. We believe in quality not quantity, and we will not sell you a dog that is not registered and would never sell you a mixed breed pup/dog. We will not make false claims regarding Chihuahuas. 

6.  We are here to help. We are responsible for bringing these dogs into this world, so we are willing to provide guidance and answers to any questions as they are asked. We are always concerned about our pups/dogs. If for any reason you cannot keep your pup, we will take her back and place her for adoption.
