AdoptionsText Box: From time to time Lil’ Amigo Chihuahuas will have mature Chihuahuas placed on this site for adoption. The process of developing our own unique line of Chihuahuas requires that we retire breeding stock as they are replaced with improved strains.

These precious little ones need loving, protective homes to live out their lives. All we ask is that you cover
the cost of spaying or neutering — and
to love them as we have.
Text Box: Amigo carries the name of our kennel. He quickly became a champion as a puppy. Amigo is gentle and quiet. His favorite place is under your housecoat, next to your heart. He loves warmth and comfort. A true “lap dog”, Amigo will made an excellent companion for a quiet household, with a quiet lap to curl up on.

Special Needs Chihuahua

Amigo has special needs. When he was about one year old he suffered a fall resulting in torn ligaments in his front wrist and stretched ligament in his back knees.

Also, Amigo has a liver condition known as Microvasular Dysplasia. He is on a special diet and some Herbal medication. With care his prognosis is good and he should live close to a normal life span.

Amigo was born in November 2004.

PageText Box: Tiggi is a unique Chihuahua. Purchased from American breeding stock, Tiggi has unique brindle markings. She is registered in Canada as well as the USA. She is also too large a Chihuahua to show. Tiggi is a most gentle spirit who required a loving and quiet home. She was not socialized properly as a puppy, so has never quite learned to trust humans and is startled easily by sudden noises. However she will bond quickly to her owner. She may hesitate to come when called, but once comfortable on your lap she is in ‘doggy heaven’. In spite of her shyness, she is completely harmless and she has never snapped or even threaten to bite anyone (not even the Vet).

Text Box: Puzz is an ‘almost perfect’ Chihuahua. He is only 2 points short of his Championship and we kept him back from our last litter for our breeding program. He had the perfect Chihuahua ‘apple-head’ and a perfect temperament for the show ring; he actually really enjoyed showing off. Puzz is both gentle and energetic.

Special Needs Chihuahua

Unfortunately, we recently discovered that Puzz has a mild liver weakness. His life span is expected to be normal if he stays on his low-protein diet, but his condition means that we cannot use him for breeding.

Puzz is still a puppy at 11 months old. He is beautiful and has a great personality. He loves everyone.

Puzz was born in April 2007.
Text Box: ADOPTION ?

Each one of these little dogs are close to our heart. We chose potential buyers or adoptive home with loving care. You cannot just drop in and buy or adopt one of our little babies (not like a pet store). There will be pre-adoption visits and ‘sleep-overs’ in an effort to make the transition from our home to yours as comfortable and gentle as possible.

Are we a little neurotic and over protective?
Probably! With no apologies.
