AdoptionsText Box: From time to time Lil’ Amigo Chihuahuas will have mature Chihuahuas
placed on this site for adoption. The process of developing our own unique line of Chihuahuas
requires that we retire breeding stock as they are replaced with improved strains.
Or, we may have held back a puppy to evaluate their potential for the show ring.
From time to time we may have a dog with special needs (health or structural problems)
— still needing a loving home.

These precious little ones need loving, protective homes to live out their lives.
All we ask is that you cover the cost of spaying or neutering (or perhaps to share initial medical costs) — and to love them as we have.

Each one of these little darlings are close to our heart. We choose potential buyers or adoptive homes with loving care. You cannot just drop in and buy or adopt one of our little babies (not like a pet store). There will be pre-adoption visits and a ‘sleep-over’ in an effort to make the transition from
our home to yours as comfortable and gentle as possible.

Are we a little neurotic and over protective? Probably! With no apologies.
Text Box: Amigo carries the name of our kennel. He quickly became a champion as a puppy. Amigo is gentle and quiet and his favorite place is under your housecoat, next to your heart. He loves warmth and comfort. A true “lap dog”, Amigo will make an excellent companion for a quiet household, with a quiet lap to curl up on. He is both proud and humble at the same time. Amigo has been neutered and is ready for his Forever Home.

Special Needs Chihuahua

Amigo has a mild liver condition known as Microvasular Dysplasia. He is on a special diet and some Herbal medication; both are inexpensive preparations. With care his prognosis is good and he should live a full normal life span.

Amigo was born in November 2004.

Text Box: Bernie is a handsome little boy weighing approximately 6.5 pounds. His dad was one of the top 5 U.S.A. Chihuahuas several years back and he looks just like his dad. Bernie was recently returned from his first home as they were moving and could no longer care for him. He loves going for walks and hanging out with his human. Bernie does not have any patience for children and will snap at them when they get too close. He needs a quiet home and a lap to curl up on.

Ginger

Text Box: Ginger is truly an intelligent, gentle soul who is very patient. She was an excellent mother who was devoted (no, obsessed) with her puppies. Ginger’s mature weight is 7.5 pounds although she is currently overweight (another obsession of her—stealing food from the other chis).
Ginger is fully house trained and she uses a pee pad during cold months. Ginger is friendly toward everyone and enjoys company. Ginger is now retired from our breeding program.
